- preheat oven to 200u00b0c transfer the lamb to a greased ovenproof dish or roasting pan and cook for 10 minutes or until the surface of the lamb is golden and crisp remove the lamb from the oven cover loosely with foil and stand in a warm place for 10 15 minutes allowing the meat to stand will complete the cooking as well as ensure the meat will be tender and easy to carve
